Kazozo vs HubSpot

Keep your CRM. Skip the Service Hub upgrade.

HubSpot is a great CRM suite. Kazozo is the AI-agent layer that runs on top of it — conversations, qualification, follow-up, reviews, voice, and ops — without paying for Service Hub Pro per seat.

TL;DR

Pick Kazozo if you want AI agents to handle inbound conversations and follow-up while keeping HubSpot (free or Starter) as your CRM. Starts at $249/mo flat, plugs into HubSpot contacts. Pick HubSpot (Service Hub Pro+) if you need a full CRM, marketing automation, email sequences, and a help desk all from one vendor — with seat-based pricing that starts around $90/seat/month.

Different categories, different jobs

The fastest way to understand the distinction: Kazozo is an AI layer. HubSpot is a CRM platform. Most of our customers use both.

Who each one is for

This is not a zero-sum choice — a lot of Kazozo customers are HubSpot customers. But if you're only going to pick one tool for the job below, here's the honest read.

Pick Kazozo if…

You need AI agents to actually do the conversation work — answer the website, qualify leads, book appointments, follow up over SMS, manage reviews, run ops tasks. You don't want to pay for Service Hub Pro seats to unlock AI features you'll barely use, and you don't want to build branching chatbot flows by hand. You're fine keeping HubSpot Free or Starter as your CRM underneath.

Pick HubSpot if…

Your team is going to live inside the CRM every day — logging calls, managing deal stages, running marketing email campaigns, building landing pages, sending quotes. You want everything under one vendor and you have the seat budget to unlock Service Hub Pro or the Breeze AI features. Kazozo is not a CRM replacement.

Questions we hear a lot

Can I run Kazozo on top of HubSpot?
Yes — that's actually the most common setup. You keep HubSpot (free, Starter, or Pro) as your CRM. Kazozo handles the AI conversations on your website, phone, and follow-up, and pushes qualified leads into HubSpot contacts and deals. See our pricing for the response pool by plan.
Isn't HubSpot's free CRM and chatbot good enough?
For contact management and basic lead capture, HubSpot's free CRM is excellent. The free chatbot is rule-based flows — great for "click here for pricing, click here for support" but not for natural-language conversations that actually qualify and book. That's where Kazozo comes in. You don't have to give up the free CRM to get AI.
Why not just upgrade to HubSpot Service Hub Pro for the AI features?
You can — and if you need the rest of Service Hub (tickets, knowledge base, customer portal), that's the right call. But if you're primarily trying to get AI agents answering customers and qualifying leads, Service Hub Pro's seat minimums usually end up more expensive than Kazozo's flat monthly price, and the AI depth is more limited than a purpose-built agent platform.
Will qualified leads show up in my HubSpot pipeline?
Yes. Lead Qualifier and Sales Agent push qualified leads with full conversation context into HubSpot — contact record, deal stage, lead score, and the transcript. You can also push to Notion, Google Sheets, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or a custom webhook if HubSpot isn't your CRM.
Does Kazozo do email marketing like HubSpot?
No. Kazozo's Sales Agent does AI-driven lead follow-up — dynamic, conversational, multi-channel. It's not a bulk email tool. If you need campaign sends, segmentation, and landing pages, keep Marketing Hub (or use something like Mailchimp).
How long does it take to go live?
Most businesses are live the same day. 20-minute demo, we configure agents for your industry, wire up your website + phone + HubSpot integration, and you're answering customers that afternoon. No SOW, no implementation consultant.
